I know I am not alone in the experience of watching the world as we know it, come crumbling down around us. I wonder sometimes if I am crazy, or if that pained and wild feeling that has taken root in my own soul, is actually the same thing I can see imprinted on other people’s faces as I walk by silently. My eyes have learned to follow my feet and stop searching for the smiles that were once prevalent in the world that saturated my naive young mind.

Coming from a world that used to be full of laughter and curiosity, there is now an underlying tone of hard and bitter truth to the reality that anything we grasp onto for stability can disintegrate under our fingers at any moment.

In a world that has lost control, how can we learn to let go of the human tendency to need stability and predictability in our lives?

Fear and anxiety are the newest pandemic that I can see surround me as I silently observe the nature of the words that swim through my surroundings.

Learning to let go….

Life, in tune with energy, happens in waves. It could not happen any other way as these are the rules of the universe — sound, light, energy all have the same flow but different rhythms.
